    109902 - Emerging Actors

In collaboration with Covered Bridge Kidz, Children’s and Teen’s Theaters, join us for our very successful children’s theatre productions. All children age 9-18 are encouraged to audition. No previous acting experience is required. You must register prior to the audition date in order to secure your audition number; those who register late may be placed on a wait list. Cast members and family members will also help with all aspects of the production including set design, props, costumes, etc. A parent must accompany children to auditions with clothing sizes and a list of schedule conflicts. All cast members must attend tech and dress rehearsals, and all performances; no exceptions.

Emerging Actors presents: YEARBOOK. This production will be cast with children ages 9-18 (or with director's consent) who have NEVER had a large or leading role in a play, anywhere; no previous acting experience necessary. YEARBOOK is a positive play about the humor, determination and caring that exists in most schools. Susan and Beth enlist the help of Jack and Eric to move boxes of hot-off-the-press yearbooks that just arrived. They stop to flip through the yearbook pages, reminiscing through flashback scenes about the year's highlights.

This play is one you'll want to be a part of - a satirical/absurdist comedy-drama about some of the issues children face in Jr. High and High School as well as in their lives outside of school. What do a blonde girl, a new boy in the neighborhood and a child with a challenge all have in common? This highly acclaimed story may give us insights into what our children deal with and answers that will have us roaring with laughter and cheering for the underdog.
