Supply List
NOTE: Hobby Lobby and Michaels have a 40% off one item coupon every week. Leading up to class visit the store once a week to get supplies at 40% off.

PAPER: D'Arches of any other top quality brand name 300 or 140 pound cold-press size 22" x 30" paper (1 sheet)

BRUSHES: a water color starter kit is fine, you can always add brushes as we go along. Try to get the following brush sizes: ROUND- #4, #6, #8, #10, #10, FLAT- #3/4, #1, #1-1/2. My favotire brands are Holbien and Robert Simmons.

COLORS: I mostly use American Journey from Cheap Joes (art supply website). Look for a set with 12 or 24 color tube sets. Blick art supply carries a nice 12/24 color pack as well.

OTHER: Master's Touch Resealable Palette, Paper towel (Viva brand), blue painters tape, water container, mounting board for paper (will not need until end of session, instructor will give details on size).

Optional: an old brush for masking, water color sketch pad, red ballpoint pen, natural sea sponges (used for texture), erasers (moo eraser, kneaded eraser, black pearl or white pearl eraser), starter palette with at least 24 wells.
